Pop icons BTS is staying atop the charts. The South Korean septet released their second English single 'Butter' on May 21 and since then the song has topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for seven consecutive weeks. The group has extended their own record as the song becomes the 8th debut in history to stay No. 1 on the chart.
According to Billboard, "'Butter' drew 29.1 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 6%), 10.8 million U.S. streams, and sold 108,800 in the week ending July 8."

Apart from that, 'Butter' has become the first song in 2021 to surpass 1 million pure sales. It also remains No. 1 on Billboard's Songs of the Summer 2021 chart this week! The song has entered the top 10 on Billboard's Pop Airplay Chart this week, making BTS the first all-South Korean act with multiple Top 10 Pop Radio hits. (Dynamite & Butter)

BTS recently released their CD single ‘Butter’ that includes the chart-topping summer song 'Butter' as well as the brand new track 'Permission to Dance' that will get your heart pumping. The instrumental versions of each are also part of the tracklist. The septet will show the U.S. TV premiere of 'Permission to Dance' on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for two nights on July 13 and 14.
